In Spain and Portugal, foreign companies that do not have a national VAT number and market packaged products need to appoint an Authorised Representative to manage their regulatory compliance.
While in Spain the regulations are governed by Royal Decree 293/2018 on packaging and packaging waste, in Portugal Decree-Law N° 152-D/2017 applies.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
The first step is to analyse your situation to determine the type of products and packaging you market and the regulations that apply to you in each country.
In Spain, we manage your registration in the Register of Producers and take care of the submission of the annual declarations on the placing on the market of packaging.
In Portugal, we register you in the SIRER system as a Product Producer and manage the obligations related to placing packaging on the market, ensuring that you comply with Decree-Law N° 152-D/2017.
In both cases, we take care of the whole process, from registration to declaration and follow-up.
